Angelica Panganiban is a Filipino-American actress, model and TV host as well as a comedian. Panganiban is dubbed the "new queen of Drama" by many media sources. Panganiban is also regarded as one of the Philippines the most skilled and diverse actors. In the Live Shows, she performed Clarity (by Zedd) in the Quarterfinals as well as Without You (by David Guetta) to make it into the Semifinals. Angelica made it to the finals in which she performed Symphony by Clean Bandit. In the finale, she was singing Stronger along together with Kelly Clarkson. The youngest-ever runner-up, Hale was second on the podium. In 2012 when Angelica Hale was just 4 years old, she was very sick due to double pneumonia. This was due to a serious strep bacterial infection. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston placed her on ECMO which is a lifesaving treatment. The patient became septic and suffered multiple organ failure, including the kidneys that did not fully recover. She was forced to adapt her daily routine around hemodialysis then peritoneal dialysate. For the eighteen days she spent in Hospital, the life of her was changed for the better. Angelica had been in dialysis for nearly a year until she finally was able to undergo the most important operation of her existence, a kidney transplant. Her mother would be the organ donor. In September 2013, Angelica as well as her mother underwent the successful transplantation of their kidney at two amazing hospitals located close to one another- the University Hospital of Memory and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young Atlantan girl who always wanted to be an actress and singer she is still working toward this dream.
